The NEO-M8N High Precision GPS Module is designed for PIXHAWK and APM Flight Controllers, offering built-in compass, low power consumption, and high precision. It boasts an accuracy of 0.6 to 0.9 meters, significantly better than the previous NEO-7N model. It supports GPS/QZSS L1 C/A, GLONASS L10F, and BeiDou B1 protocols.
You can connect it to an APM Flight Controller by swapping the extra 5-pin connector included in the package. This module is ideal for GPS telemetry in FPV flying or camera ships, with fast satellite acquisition (around ten seconds to locate up to six satellites) and a built-in compass with a 10Hz refresh rate.
The NEO-M8N offers excellent RF integration, robustness, and flexible connectivity options. It includes internal Flash for firmware upgrades to support additional GNSS systems. The module also comes with a case and GPS antenna mount to prevent electromagnetic interference.
